Cheeky Monkey Gastro Pub Qawra in Malta is looking to recruit a Food and Beverage Operative to join their team on a part-time basis.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of dining room and service of meals and beverages
- General set up and maintenance of bar and dining room areas
- Clearing and resetting of the tables during meals
- Ensure consistently a high level of service to the style as specified by the Supervisor / Manager
- To be fully conversant with every menu item and to provide explanations if requested
- Maintain bar and dining room miscellaneous supplies and notify management of low stocks for reorder
- Ensure that stations are clean and clear throughout the service
- Report all comments/complaints/problems to the supervisor
- Undertake any other duties required.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer care and communication skills
- Previous experience in a la carte restaurants
- Previous experience with Micros POS System
- Efficient, accurate, and professional approach towards all work-related aspects
- Basic knowledge of wine serving
- Ability to work under pressure, in long or break shifts.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, managers, suppliers, and employees.
- Fluency in English
