Overview:

The Events & Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in driving sales and event management across three venues: Radio, Luciano, and Cabana Club. This position requires exceptional organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the Melia sales team, suppliers, and management. The coordinator will help create memorable experiences by facilitating events and maximizing sales opportunities through networking and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Melia sales team to expand sales opportunities for all venues.
  • Network with potential clients and industry professionals to drive bookings and partnerships.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events across Radio, Luciano, and Cabana Club.
  • Organise and maintain function sheets, ensuring all details are accurately documented and communicated.
  • Work closely with management to align event strategies and objectives.
  • Engage with suppliers for brand support during events, ensuring high-quality service and materials.
  • Manage relationships with vendors to support the successful execution of events.
  • Liaise with management to gain insights and feedback on events, continuously improving offerings.
  • Provide support in managing on-site event logistics to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event coordination, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and seven rooms management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
