Duty Manager

Prestige Travel Marketing Ltd is currently looking to recruit a Duty Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:

The role of the Duty Manager is critical to the success of the operation. While on duty, the Duty Manager must assume full control of all areas of the hotel, ensuring comfort and the well-being of the guests, in accordance with brand standards and in compliance with all policies & procedures. The Duty Manager is to support all existing management team in delivering a successful operation in line with hotel objectives.

Responsibilities: 

• Training, supervision and guidance of front office team members
• Motivating team members and establishing a productive working environment for the hotel
• Assigning daily work tasks to team members
• Dealing effectively with guests’ feedback to exceed guests’ expectations
• Responding promptly to any guests’ requests and work to optimise the guests’ experience
• Maintaining the corporate relations
• Making sure that all the VIP guest are receiving the suitable treatment 
• Taking care of room assignment
• Maintaining control and composure in difficult situations and exhibit good judgement
• The Duty Manager is to provide the best solution to all guest queries
• Assisting the front office manager in the day-to-day operations
• Finalizing all necessary reports requested by the head of department
• Ensure that front of house and back of house is kept clear, tidy and organized

Requirements:

We are seeking candidates with prior experience in roles such as front desk, senior F&B, hotel operations and general operations. Applicants must demonstrate strong operational knowledge and a solid background in guest service.
