Dishwasher
Barceló Fortina Malta is looking for a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our Kitchen team.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of one of Malta's leading 5-star hotels, where teamwork, professionalism, and high standards are at the heart of everything we do.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Wash dishes, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and washing areas.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures.
- Support the kitchen team by keeping work areas clean and organised.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, and health & safety procedures at all times.
- Carry out general cleaning duties as required.
Educational and skill requirements
- Previous experience as a Dishwasher or Kitchen Porter is considered an asset but is not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
- A positive attitude and willingness to support the kitchen team.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
