A Demi Chef de Partie supports the kitchen team in preparing high-quality dishes. You will assist the Chef de Partie in managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining excellent standards of food preparation and hygiene.

1. Assist the Chef de Partie in preparing and cooking dishes for a specific kitchen section (e.g., grill, pastry, or sauté).
2. Ensure ingredients are prepped, measured, and ready for cooking according to recipes and standards.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your workstation at all times.
4. Monitor food quality and presentation to meet the restaurant’s standards.
5. Follow food safety and hygiene regulations during all kitchen tasks.
6. Support junior kitchen staff and assist in their training when required.
7. Communicate any issues, delays, or stock shortages to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
8. Handle special requests or dietary requirements with care.
9. Participate in kitchen briefings and contribute ideas for improving workflow or recipes.
