We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Demi Chef to join our team. As a Demi Chef, you will assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes, ensuring that they are of the highest quality and presented in a timely manner. You will work closely with our Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain our high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in the kitchen
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of ingredients and supplies
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to create new menu items
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Demi Chef or similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
