Commis Chefs

Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled and passionate Commis Chefs to join our client's team for the summer season. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment while working across different culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation across various kitchen sections, including breakfast service, buffet preparation, and à la carte dining;
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to high standards and meet food safety regulations;
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow during peak service hours; 
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and contribute to the overall success of kitchen operations; 
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all food preparation areas.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen is an advantage but not essential;
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment;
• Strong multitasking skills and adaptability to different kitchen sections;
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset;
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.

• Location: Various Hotels
• Employment Type: Temporary (Summer Operation: May – September)
• Work Schedule: Flexible, 40 hours per week + Overtime (Monday – Sunday)
