Breakfast Supervisor

IBB Hammett's Operations Ltd. is looking to recruit a motivated and experienced Breakfast Supervisor to join our team and oversee morning service operations.

The Breakfast Supervisor is responsible for managing the breakfast shift, ensuring smooth service delivery, maintaining high standards of food quality, and providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will work closely with the kitchen and service staff to ensure that all guests start their day with a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the breakfast service: Oversee the daily operations of the breakfast shift, ensuring that service runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Customer Service: maintaining a professional, friendly and high level of service at all times in taking reservations, greeting & seating clientele and relaying pre-shift briefing information and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all food items are fresh, well-presented, and meet company quality standards.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
• Training & Development: Train new and existing staff on service protocols, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.
• Problem Solving: Address any operational issues that may arise during the breakfast shift, from guest complaints to staff shortages.
• Communication: Liaise with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth collaboration and an efficient workflow

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally in a restaurant or hotel setting.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of the English language; another language will be considered an asset.
• A passion for delivering high-quality customer service.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A team player with a proactive and flexible approach
