Barista / Bartender

Tribe Malta is currently looking to recruit a Barista / Bartender to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team in a dynamic role that combines the art of coffee making with the craft of mixology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a keen interest in beverages, both caffeinated and alcoholic.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
• Craft and serve cocktails, wines, and other alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure a positive experience
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, blenders, and bar equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed
• Manage inventory of coffee, alcohol, and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure stock availability
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and efficient environment
• Stay updated on beverage trends and techniques to enhance product offerings.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista and/or bartender in a fast-paced environment is preferred
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and cocktail mixing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service
• Certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus.
