DoubleTree by Hilton Malta is seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee the operations of all bars within our hotel. 

Reporting to the Food & Drink Leadership Team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of multiple bar outlets, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and driving profitability. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who excels in leadership, customer service, and the beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the leadership team and manage the day-to-day operations of all bars in the hotel, including staffing, inventory management, and ensuring adherence to company standards.

• Recruit, train, and manage bar staff, ensuring high levels of service and team morale. Provide regular coaching and feedback to foster professional growth and a positive work environment.

• Maintain a welcoming and engaging atmosphere at each bar, ensuring that guest needs are met, and issues are resolved promptly.

• Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to design innovative drink menus, seasonal specials, and signature cocktails, keeping in line with current trends.

• Monitor sales, control costs, and ensure bar profitability by overseeing wastage, and inventory control.

• Ensure all bars comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards as well as alcohol service regulations. 

• Oversee beverage ordering, stock levels, and inventory control to prevent shortages or overstocking. 

• Regularly report on performance, including sales, guest feedback, and any operational challenges. 

• Be physically present in the outlets in order to manage the operations and have first-hand contact with guests and team members.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience working within a Bars environment, preferably in a hotel or multi-outlet environment.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Exceptional guest service and problem-solving skills

• Excellent knowledge of beverages, mixology, and industry trends.

• A warm personality, attentive to details and smart appearance

• A creative, driven and pro-active attitude

• Ability to work under pressure, accountable and resilient

• Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
