Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa is currently looking to recruit an Assistant Front Office Manager to join their team on a full-time basis.

Job Role:
Malta Marriot Hotel & Spa is one of Malta's leading 5-star hotels and is looking to recruit an Assistant Front Office Manager to join the Rooms Department.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Report to and assist the Front Office Manager in managing the Front Office Operation to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to our guests.
  • Supervise the activities and services but are not limited to the M Lounge, MH Great Room, Front Desk, Concierge, Porters, and Doormen.
  • Assist with the hiring, training, and direction of new department associates.
  • Ensure all guests are being assisted in an efficient and courteous manner and that all Marriott International standards are being applied.
  • Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Ensure all Front Office quality standards are complied with and that policies and procedures are consistently applied.
  • Coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
  • Responsible for enhancing the product and service presented to each guest in the hotel.
  • Assist in the achievement of various departmental and hotel targets.


Requirements:

  • Similar experience in a Front Office Management role within a 4 or 5-star hotel.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, together with an excellent ability to build relationships with a positive approach toward both external and internal guests.
  • Possess excellent negotiating skills, with the ability to work unsupervised using my own initiative.
