We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead our commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant workplace. This role is crucial in fostering a culture of safety and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are adhered to across the organisation.
- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Provide training and support to staff on health and safety practices, ensuring a thorough understanding of protocols.
- Monitor and report on health and safety performance, preparing documentation for regulatory compliance and internal reviews.
- Collaborate with management and employees to promote a proactive approach to health and safety across all departments.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations to prevent future occurrences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably within a similar industry.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with personnel at all levels.
- Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are highly desirable.
