Strategic Operations Manager

A leading company in Malta is expanding and seeking a Strategic Operations Manager to provide leadership and strategic direction across all business functions.

The successful candidate will work closely with the management team to create, implement, and drive the business’s strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the company’s objectives and performance targets. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, strengthening business capabilities to meet specific goals, and proactively identifying new growth opportunities aligned with established objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the General Manager to establish strategic priorities.
• Ensure operational procedures are well-documented and continuously monitored.
• Lead change management initiatives to foster ongoing business growth.
• Support the General Manager in brand development efforts.
• Work alongside departmental managers to allocate labour effectively, motivating teams to meet operational deadlines within the company’s budget and capital expenditure plans.
• Drive business excellence, continuous improvement, and safe working practices.
• Ensure profitable operations across business segments, achieving targets and budget goals.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, franchise, and quality management standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a management role with a strong track record of meeting challenging KPIs.
• Demonstrated success in sales and/or operations management, preferably within FMCG
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a semi-autonomous role.
• Comprehensive business understanding and financial literacy.
• A degree in Business Studies or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
