MEP Package Manager (Fuel Division)

Ably Resources Limited in Malta is currently looking to recruit an MEP Package Manager (Fuel Division) to join their team on a full-time basis.

About the client:
We are seeking a highly motivated M&E Package manager to join our fuel department team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales, operations, maintenance, and administration of various company projects. As an integral part of the team, you will need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a professional and friendly approach to customers and colleagues
• Effectively manage time and meet deadlines
• Lead and manage projects with excellent project management skills
• Be a team player and communicate effectively with team members
• Be innovative and able to find solutions to overcome challenges
• Be willing to learn new skills.

Core Duties:

• Prepare quotations and tenders including project designs
• Assist the fuel maintenance team and respond to customer maintenance requests
• Supervise ongoing projects under the guidance of the fuel department manager including preparation of materials and tools for the execution of works, site monitoring, attending regular meetings, and responsible for procurement of material
• Liaise with various stakeholders including engineers, architects, subcontractors, and other necessary personnel for the successful running of works
• Collaborate with company employees from different departments for the successful running of works
• Carry out various administrative tasks as necessary.

Core Strengths:

• Ability to work well both indoors and outdoors, and with people from various nationalities
• Good physical ability
• Knowledge of hazards associated with the trade
• Able to wear personal protective equipment for long durations as required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

• A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a recognized institution
• Experience in engineering projects, preferably in the fuel and/or mechanical and electrical industry
• Proficient in English; Maltese would be an asset. • Able to work well under pressure
• Flexible in approach and with hours
• Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
• Able to use own initiative and demonstrate intelligent judgment in foresight of potential issues, and create alternative solutions to problems
• Willing to travel for work abroad for short periods.
