Our client forms part of a well established, leading, hospitality group in Malta with an International outreach. They would like to engage a HotelManager to join their team
The Role
You will be reporting into the General Manager
You will manage the whole operation including Reception, Housekeeping, F&B, Health Club and Facilities.
Will be the face of the hotel and manage relationships with all stakeholders including suppliers & potential clients
You will also ensure that the hotel is competitive in pricing and offer the best service possible
Liaise regularly with the Management Team and give the necessary input on the business
Ensure top notch client satisfaction ensuring the best client offering at all times
Coordinates all functions with the Senior Management Teams
Assists in the development and implementation if the Strategic Plan, Marketing Plan, Budget
and Goals Programme to ensure on an on-going basis optimum guest satisfaction, sales
potential and profitability
Ensure that hotel departmental heads are in sink with the strategy and its implementation. Taking corrective action where needed
Conduct weekly inspections to ensure that Health & Safety measures are in place and that all risk factors are mitigated as procedures
Ensures that all personnel related matters are dealt with professionally through a well structured HR function
Act on behalf of the General Manager in his absence
Monitor the purchasing function to ensure that its a cost effective operation
Skill-sets and Requirements
Have proven experience in managing hotel management preferably with international experience
Having managed hotels that also offer events will be considered as a strong asset
You must be assertive yet approachable
You must have strong leadership skills
You must have strong business acumen
You must have proven experience in reaching agreed targets
Education & Experience
Preferably have tertiary education
A qualification in hospitality will be considered as a strong asset
