Head of Risk (m/f/d)

As Head of Risk (m/f/d), you will be reporting to the company Board of Directors and you will be responsible for formulating and defining the company’s risk appetite, risk framework and operations from a risk point of view.

Responsibilities:

• As our Head of Risk (m/f/d) you will be responsible for identifying potential threats to the financial and economic model and stability of EPG and recognising operational risks, financial risks and reputational risks. After that, you will classify them and undertake preventive action to mitigate the risks.
• You will be called to prepare and maintain internal and external data gathering for risk analysis and reporting.
• In addition, you will be delivering regular risk analysis reports to the Board of Directors, together with actionable plans for the management of risk
• Also, you will be coordinating programs designed to minimize threats and anticipate threats to each function within EPG.
• You will also support by conducting regular risk assessments for the area falling within the risk register.

Qualifications:

• A Personal Questionnaire (PQ) clearance by the MFSA, or willingness and competence to undertake the certification process (the engagement will be subject to successful PQ)
• In possession of a first degree in an area related to risk management, financial services or related from a duly accredited university or academic institution
• Minimum five years of continuous work experience in risk management internal audit consultancy, or internal control and related functions with licensed and regulated entities
• Familiarity with industry compliance standards and regulations
