Duty Manager

Our client is on the lookout for a Duty Manager to join their team in Malta.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing and resolving any inquiries, complaints, or emergencies in a professional manner.
• Enforce adherence to hotel policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff.
• Support the Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage teams in managing busy periods and upholding service excellence.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance team to promptly resolve any issues and ensure guest comfort.
• Conduct regular property inspections to confirm cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive shift reports to the Management team.
• Assist in training and developing team members to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

• At least 2 years of experience within a similar within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of hotel operations and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluency in Maltese and English.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
