We are looking for a Services Executive to join a leading Care Home in Malta. Reporting directly to the Facility Manager, the role of the Services Executive is a pivotal and multifaceted position designed to supervise the operational efficiency of the Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Front Office departments within the Facility. 


  • Exercise diligent supervision and coordination of daily operations within the housekeeping, kitchen, and front office departments.
  • Collaborate with the Facility Manager to identify and address recruitment needs.
  • Manage staff rosters for all departments, ensuring efficient scheduling and optimal coverage.
  • Facilitate the identification of alternative replacements when staff members are on leave or sick, maintaining operational continuity.


  • Lead the Housekeeping team in executing all required processes and procedures to ensure the facility is maintained at the established company standards.
  • Strategically assign daily responsibilities and agreed-upon deep cleaning routines to domestic personnel, and laundry assistants.
  • Conduct meticulous monthly stock assessments and generate requisite reports.
  • Adhere to budgetary constraints when managing requisition orders.


Oversee all aspects of kitchen and dining room operations with precision mainly in:

  • Ensuring that the daily food orders are as per meal provisions and compliance with nutrition standards.
  • Overseeing the stock levels and enforce optimal storage practices.
  • Oversee the kitchen staff rosters.
  • Supervise the budgetary guidelines for staff costs and consumables.
  • Ensure professional adherence to required standards, including HACCP plans and legal routine checks.


  • Oversee and manage the Front Office Department, providing leadership and supervision to the Securities and Receptionist. Responsible for directing daily operations, encompassing procedures, handling inquiries from relatives, and managing phone communications, ensuring seamless and efficient functioning.
  • Guarantee the delivery of exceptional customer service and expedite the resolution of issues or complaints.


  • Previous experience within the care or hositality industry is preferred
  • Able to communicate in Maltese and English
  • Embrace a vocational attitude, displaying empathy and compassion, understanding the delicate needs of the residents 
  • A passion for working with people and providing person-centred care
