Payments Officer

We are looking for Payments Officer to join our growing team within the Operations Department. The ideal candidate should have some background knowledge and experience of working within a financial services environment. A strong team player with good communication skills.

Main responsibilities:

• Processing of payments ensuring compliance with internal procedures;
• Obtaining necessary documentation to support payments;
• Ongoing customer and account maintenance;
• Creating customer profiles and accounts on system;
• Manning customer helpdesk and queries via phone;
• Working with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve payment related issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma/certificate in finance, management, operations or a related field will be an asset; 
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in English–any other language is considered an asset;
• Knowledge of fintech and payments industry is desirable;
• Strong attention to detail; 
• Be a team player and able to meet strict deadlines.
