Middle Officer (Asset Management)

Jesmond Mizzi Financial Advisors Limited, a Company licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority is seeking to enhance its team of professional personnel.

In view of the expansion of the Asset Management team, a vacancy has arisen for a full-time Middle Officer.

Middle Officer (Asset Management)

The successful candidate will report to the Chief Investment Officer and will be responsible for handling various daily tasks in coordination with the rest of the team. The candidate will also be expected to oversee and perform financial tasks, as well as contribute towards the team’s investment process and internal procedures. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the team on daily operational and investment-related tasks

• Reviewing and maintenance of internal investment tools

• Performing daily risk-related duties

Requirements

• At least three years’ experience in a middle office, operations or accounting role

• An investment or financial services-related degree

• Highly organised, rigorous and efficient in time management

• Capacity to work under pressure when it is necessary

• Being IT savvy or having analytical IT skills will be considered an asset

• Fluency in English and is required
