Lead Credit Officer

Our client, a well-established and growing Financial Institution, is seeking to recruit a Lead Credit Officer to join its dynamic team and play a key role in managing and strengthening its commercial lending portfolio.

Main responsibilities :

• Assessing financing proposals through detailed risk evaluations and financial analysis;
• Preparing credit applications and recommending proposals for approval in accordance with delegated authority limits, company policies, and regulatory requirements;
• Building and maintaining strong, productive relationships with the company’s commercial clients;
• Continuously monitoring and reviewing existing credit facilities, while identifying and recommending appropriate corrective or strategic actions where necessary;
• Compiling data and reports required for statutory, regulatory, and internal reporting purposes;
• Providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to support staff.

Requirements

• Previous Local working experience in a Banking Institution will be considered an asset.
