Junior Auditor

A boutique CSP is looking for a highly motivated individual to join their growing team as a Junior Auditor. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the day-to-day requirements within the department.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the planning and execution of statutory audits under the supervision of audit seniors.
• Perform audit procedures, including verifying the accuracy of financial statements and identifying areas of audit risk
• Reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports and methods for accuracy and completeness.
• Preparing adequate audit working papers in a timely manner.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and other reports as required.
• Liaising with external advisors as needed.
•  Assisting in the preparation of tax computations and tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations
• Meeting work plan specifications and deadlines.
• Performing other duties as may be assigned.
• Able to work within a team and with other departments in the company.

• Minimum of 2 years of local work experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficient with MS office applications, especially Excel
• The ability to work on own initiative, prioritize own work and meet deadlines

• In possession of a University degree in accounting or actively studying ACCA
