Our client, a well-established bank located in Malta is looking to recruit an Investor Relations Manager.

The Investor Relations Manager will be responsible for supervising capital raising, interacting with regulatory bodies, managing investor relations, crafting marketing materials, and ensuring timely documentation and compliance. This role requires strategic communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.


  • Direct and coordinate the bank's initiatives to secure capital through avenues like equity and bonds. Develop and execute strategies to achieve funding objectives efficiently.
  • Manage all processes with the Malta Stock Exchange (MSE) and the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) during capital raising activities. Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with current and potential investors. Convey crucial financial information, market developments, and strategic directions to investors and stakeholders.
  • Assist the Company Secretary in preparing, managing, and submitting all necessary documentation and reports. Ensure precision and timeliness in all matters related to regulation and compliance.
  • Develop and oversee marketing and communication materials for public stakeholders, including accountants and potential investors. Ensure these materials accurately reflect the bank's brand and financial position.
  • Assist in the assessment of bank valuations and contribute to due diligence activities for diverse initiatives. Stay abreast of market trends and financial forecasts to offer precise input during valuation and due diligence processes.
  • Analyze financial trends and craft reports for both internal and external stakeholders. Offer insights to underpin strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate and arrange meetings with stakeholders and orchestrate events aimed at attracting investors. 
  • Collaborate with different internal teams to compile and distribute financial and operational information. Play a pivotal role in coordinating interdepartmental efforts related to capital raising and investor relations.


Skill-sets and Requirements
  • Background in capital raising, investor relations, or a related financial capacity.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, investor communication, and compliance, particularly within the Maltese context.
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and project management capabilities.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience within a Credit or Financial Institution is considered an asset.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or Master’s in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
