Finance Officer

We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our client's team. You will be reconciling accounts, assisting with VAT returns, issuing and posting invoices etc. If successful, you will be joining a focused and professional team that encourages continuous learning and career ambition.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is an intellectual property company and is located in Mosta, Malta.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issuing and posting supplier invoices
- Issuing invoices to debtors
- Processing of supplier payments
- Petty Cash and VISA postings
- Preparing and posting bank entries
- Reconciliations of bank accounts
- Reconciliations of creditors
- Upload daily bank balances
- Accruals and prepayments reconciliation
- Assist with VAT returns
- Scanning for Docuware
- Assist with month-end tasks
- Update the fixed assets register.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in an accounting role
- You are computer literate and have a good working knowledge of MS Excel
- Very good command of the English language
- You are a team player, self-motivated and able to work independently
- You possess multi-tasking and analytical skills as well as an eye for detail
- You can deliver tasks effectively promptly and according to deadlines set
- You possess excellent inter and intrapersonal skills
- You can work under pressure
- Must be an EU/EEA/Swiss national.
EDUCATION:
Candidates must have completed at least 5 ACCA modules.
