Finance Manager

Our client is seeking to recruit a Finance Manager who will play a key role in overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and effective financial management across the organisation. The person will report into the Chief Financial Officer. 

Duties include: 

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, reconciliations, and reporting processes.
• Oversee general ledger activities, journal entries, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, variance analyses, and performance insights for senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure timely submission of regulatory filings.
• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyse financial performance against budgets and provide recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Support strategic financial planning initiatives and business growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and internal company policies.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, regulatory authorities, and financial institutions.
• Monitor changes in financial legislation and IFRS standards and assess their impact on the business.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, controls, and reporting efficiencies.
• Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of financial processes and ERP/accounting systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar Finance Manager or senior accounting role.
• Previous experience within an international or multi-jurisdictional environment will be considered an asset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Local experience is required for this role

Education and Experience

• ACCA qualification or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
