Tool Maintenance

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (TEVA) in Malta is looking to recruit a Tool Maintenance to join their Tooling Services team working within the Manufacturing Section. The position is on a full-time indefinite 4-shift basis. 

The Position:
Main duties include;

• Inspection, maintenance & storage of tablet-press tooling in a proper & professional manner.
• Monitoring of tooling & turret wear-and-tear & ensuring a remediation plan is in place.
• Management & maintenance of spare parts related to punches & dies, turrets & other peripherals within the tool maintenance workshop against a system of minimum stock levels & re-ordering as necessary.
• Ensuring that compression machines are supplied with the correct tooling for products listed in batch documents & according to production compression plans on a daily basis at beginning of the shift including prioritization of the tooling to be cleaned, prepared & assembled on the turret as required thus ensuring inconvenient downtime.
• Dismantling, cleaning &assembly of equipment in the work area as required.

We would like to hear from people who have:

• A minimum of 2 years experience within the Manufacturing area
• Good technical and bench-fitting skills
• A good level of oral and written skills in the English language and computer literate
• Good communication skills
• A good level of organizational skills and a methodical approach
• A self-motivated team player and able to work independently
• Detail-oriented and accurate
• Experience within Compression would be considered an asset.
