Technical Sales Assistant (Industrial)

We are looking for a Technical Sales Assistant for Industrial Supplies. In this role, you will build key relationships with suppliers, customers and inter-group staff.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate inter-departmental functions of the industrial division and always maintain a high company profile and image.
• Coordinate quotation requests and site visits to support the sales team and to provide a prompt response to clients 
• Prepare quotations in a timely manner and follow up until closure.
• Monitor inventories in relation to stock items.
• Obtain prices and follow up on quotes from suppliers and partners and ensure that all information and data is up to date.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, monitor and coordinate the process with logistics and stores.
• Assist in developing new product lines and supplier relationships.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in both mechanical and electrical engineering competences.
• Have a good sales acumen 
• Strong communication skills both written and spoken
• Familiarity with boilers, chillers and pumps will be a big plus
• Presentable and with an eye to detail
• Ambitious to grow both technically and commercially into a technical sales role.
