Senior Technician (Support)

AIS Technology Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a  Senior Technician (Support) to join their team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for an energetic and confident person to work as a Senior Technician in our Support Department.
The selected candidate will be involved in the preventive and breakdown maintenance of ELV and Building Automation projects.
It is particularly interesting to earnest and ambitious persons seeking to broaden their knowledge of integrated solutions and enhance their careers.

Your duties and responsibilities shall be:

• Performing configuration and maintenance of ELV and Building Automation systems
• Bench-testing equipment and devices
• Identifying and solving electronic faults and repairs to maintain customer satisfaction
• Attending customers’ premises to perform on-site technical support
• Liaising with suppliers and third parties to solve issues
• Supporting the company’s internal IT setup and system administration.

Here is what you need to excel in this post:

• Have an Advanced Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
• Possession of an Electrical Licence A or B would be an asset
• Three years’ work experience in a similar field
• Have good ICT skills and be comfortable working with applications such as MS Office and others
• Be smart, highly motivated and can work on your initiative
• Have good written and verbal skills in English. Fluency in Maltese is considered a plus
• Hold a valid local driving licence
• Post may require on-call duties and out-of-office hours support.
