Project Engineer

Melita Ltd in Malta is currently looking for a motivated Projects Engineer to work on various projects within Melita’s Access Network. The selected candidate will form part of the Networks team and will be involved in the design, planning, and implementation of projects on Melita’s and customers’ network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with internal and external parties to define project specifications and requirements
• Perform site-visits on outside plant and in Customer’s premises
• Assist in the design of networking and ICT solutions
• Delegate and supervise jobs to contractors.
• Tracking of project schedules and material requirements
• Preparation of drawings, reports, and other project documentation

• A degree in a telecommunications-related field or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of networking technologies
• Excellent communications and organisation skills and a dedicated team player.
• Be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
• Possess a valid driving licence.
• Experience in the local telecommunications environment would be considered an asset.
