Process Engineer

Construct Furniture in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Process Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for analysing and improving our manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and productivity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize our production processes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis of current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
• Design and implement new processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation of process changes
• Monitor and evaluate process performance, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal efficiency
• Identify and troubleshoot any issues or bottlenecks in the production process
• Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and implement best practices to continuously improve processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in process mapping and data analysis tools.
• Proficient in CAD and CAM software
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and address potential process risks
• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to changing technologies and processes.
