Nominated Continuing Airworthiness Manager

IRIS THAUMAS Ltd in Malta is currently looking to recruit a Nominated Continuing Airworthiness Manager to join their client's team on a full-time basis.

JOB ROLE:
We are looking for a Nominated Continuing Airworthiness Manager to join our client's dynamic operation. The nominated post holder for continuing airworthiness is responsible for determining what maintenance is required, when it has to be performed and by whom and to what standard, in order to ensure the continued airworthiness of the aircraft being operated.

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is an airline registered in Malta.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• A minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft engineering or maintenance planning
• Knowledge of aviation legislation (EASA part M, Part Camo, Part 145, Part 21 etc)
• Good knowledge of A320 aircraft
• Good knowledge of Aircraft Documentation
• Good knowledge of IT, familiar with MS Office with suite and maintenance tracking systems
• Familiar with commercial aviation operations
• In possession of at-least level 1 relevant type training
• Carried out previously EWIS and FTS training, Human Factors, and Safety Management System
• Be a EU/EEA/Swiss national, or otherwise have the right to live and work in Malta
• Fluent in English
• Analytical-minded team player and leader with good communication and negotiation skills, who is able to work under pressure.

EDUCATION:
Degree in mechanical/electrical aeronautical engineering or qualified practical knowledge (Part-66 B/C).

WORKING TIME:
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00 to 17:00. Flexibility to work outside the normal office hours is expected. Willing and able to travel.
