Mechanical Project Manager (Building Services)

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager with expertise in building services to join their team. Your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing all mechanical aspects of assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Conducting quantity surveying activities, including measuring and pricing mechanical works, preparing cost reports, and managing variations
• Performing regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues or concerns, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations
• Coordinating tendering processes, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and making recommendations for selection
• Managing procurement activities, including sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including clients, management, and project teams, and address any concerns or inquiries promptly
• Mentor and support junior staff members, providing guidance and training as needed

• Experience with procurement processes, tendering, estimations, and quantity surveying
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to speak, read and write Maltese

• Previous work experience in building services, facilities management or similar
