Our client in the Construction industry in Malta is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is a fixed-term contract until July 2023, working on one of Malta's largest residential and shopping Mall complexes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct implementation of specifications & drawings by the subcontractors.
- Supervising subcontractors’ Works to make sure they are in line with the schedule and quality standards
- Managing on-site operations and providing technical support and guidance, solving arising site problems
- Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Ensure compliance with OHSE requirements
- Familiar with local regulations and norms
- Assisting M&E manager about selecting subcontractors in tender stage, in material submittals, and similar tasks given by M&E manager.
Requirements:
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering
- The ability to interpret mechanical drawings is essential.
