The Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) is seeking a warranted engineer to manage the facilities of its mission-critical government data centres, ensuring operational integrity, resilience, and compliance with industry standards. This role is central to supporting Malta's digital transformation through secure and highly available ICT infrastructure.
The Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of critical infrastructure, ensuring high availability, resilience, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, coordinating contractors, and managing capacity and energy efficiency. Compliance with standards like Uptime Institute Tier requirements and ISO certifications is essential.

Eligibility Requirements
Required Qualifications and Skills
Eligible candidates must satisfy one of the following qualifications and / or experience in an area related to Engineering, as follows:
i) An Engineering Warrant; AND
ii) A qualification (MQF level 7) or higher and 4 years’ work experience, 3 of which must be specifically in a related area; OR
iii) A qualification (MQF level 6) and 5 years’ work experience, 3 of which must be specifically in a related area.
