Engineer R&D (electronics/mechanical)

MostaTech Limited is currently looking to recruit an Engineer R&D to join their team on a full-time basis.

This position reports to the Senior Manager (R&D) Production Manager and is expected to have a general hands-on approach with the rest of the R&D team. 

Responsibilities: 

• To efficiently and effectively be trained on and prepare the necessary preparatory work within the assigned section (winding, CP Unit, M Unit, Bonding, Assembly, Testing, Chemical mixing) and/or as requested from time to time by the R&D Team. 
• Assist in the development of new manufacturing technology and equipment.
• Assist in building up new equipment, example but not limited to: Winding Machines, CP-Unit, M-Unit, etc.
• Monitor and follow R&D target schedule. 
• Coordinate and liaise with Senior Engineer [R&D] to ensure R&D necessities are met. 
• Liaise with R&D Team in the preparation and manufacturing of new products being launched in production or in advance stage of design and product development. 
• Transfer of knowledge to Technicians and other Engineers on maintenance of manufacturing equipment, product operation and fault-finding and problem-solving methodologies.
• To be able to test the equipment, gather data information and report results.
• To create manufacturing, measuring procedures and test reports in English in line with R&D requirements.
• Assist R&D team in building up and maintaining the document structure in line with ISO requirements.
• To be able to do maintenance on R&D equipment (winding, CP Unit, M Unit…).

Requirements: 

1. Bachelor’s degree (MQF level 6) in Electronics / Mechanics

2. A good level of oral and written skills in English Language

3. Possibly other experience within an external manufacturing company

4. Good communication skills
