Driver heavy plant

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Driver for heavy plant machinery to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy equipment on various sites.

- Operate heavy plant machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and dump trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies while on site.
- Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents that occur.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials as required, ensuring proper handling and storage.

- Valid CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) or equivalent certification for heavy plant operation.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction or industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to heavy plant operation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
- A valid driving licence with a clean record; additional endorsements for heavy vehicles are advantageous.
