Chief Maintenance Engineer(Hospitality)

Our client is well established in the hotel industry. They are looking for a Chief Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team 

The Role

• Lead a team of Engineers & Technicians 
• Be part of the Senior Management Team and report directly into the GM 
• Ensure that maintenance, both ongoing and preventive are conducted within established timeframes and quality 
• Create strategy for maintenance and ensure its implementation 
• Ensure that inventory is always up to date and well stocked  
• Ensure that all facility related operations/machinary are planned and scheduled in a timely manner 
• Ensure that relationships with 3rd party suppliers are optimal 
• Promote continious improvement exercises to ensure cost savings be from internal and external contracts and from internal processes

• Be assertive yet approachable
• Have a minimum 3 years in a similar position
• Have experience in leading a team

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
