BMS Engineer

Our client who specializes in the Manufacturing Industry, is looking for a BMS Engineer to join their growing team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the selected candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and implementing Building Management Systems (BMS) based on client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and execute building management systems tailored to client needs.
• Conduct on-site surveys, develop proposals, and design technical solutions.
• Support system evaluators during tenders by preparing documentation, BOQs, and proposals.
• Plan project timelines, resource allocation, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate and manage work with sub-contractors and third-party service providers.
• Provide on-site technical support throughout project execution.
• Deliver post-implementation support and troubleshoot system issues.
• Train technical teams and partners as required.
• Perform quality testing to ensure systems meet rigorous standards.
• Certify and sign off projects in line with contractual agreements.
• Develop and maintain Operation & Maintenance Manuals (OMM).
• Keep all project documentation up to date.
• Travel abroad occasionally for short-term work assignments.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Prior experience as a BMS Engineer.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with BMS software such as Niagara.
• Strong ability to interpret technical schematics and drawings.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and perseverance.
• A strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently.
