BMS Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join their team. In a nutshell, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of building management systems by:

• Designing, programming, and commissioning building management systems
• Building the projects' bill of quantities from the project requirements
• Assisting in installation by giving structured complete instructions for the installation to be carried out successfully
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues and providing the necessary technical support to customers, and owning any issues up until resolution
• Developing and maintaining system documentation
• Keeping up-to-date with any BMS developments and identifying internal training opportunities to improve efficiency and quality
• Ensuring a high quality/standard of work and service throughout
• Performing any other duties which may be assigned from time to time

• Excellent command in English; Maltese preferred
• Strong communicator with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• A logical, analytical approach to problem solving coupled with an ability to pay close attention to detail
• A team player who actively promotes team spirit, with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of AutoCad , Visio or a similar software would be an asset
• At least 2 years of previous experience in BMS, Installations, Project Management or Electrical Engineering
