Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Architect to join our team. The Architect will be responsible for overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural principles, excellent and the ability to manage projects from conception to completion. 

Full-time position, with occasional overtime or weekend work required to meet project deadlines. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements and objectives. 

- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD software. 

- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.

- Resolve any construction issues that arise during the project lifecycle. 

- Present project proposals and progress updates to clients.

- Address client feedback and make necessary adjustments to work practices. 

- Foster strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction with the final product.

- Incorporate sustainable design principles and materials to create environmentally friendly structures. 

- Stay updated with the latest architectural trends, technologies, and best practices. 

Qualifications: 

- Degree in architecture from an accredited institution. 

Requirements:

- Fluent knowledge of Maltese and English languages. 

- Driving licence category B

Skills:

- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) 

- Strong design and visualisation skills. 

- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. 

- Effective communication and presentation skills. 

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related position in Malta.
