Finance Analyst

A client of our operating within the Insurance industry is currently looking for a Finance Analyst to join their growing team.

Duties include: 

• Prepare insurance business plans and accounting schemes  
• Partner with stakeholders from across the business to ensure alignment with finance department - Link the project with all financial aspects including accounting and forecasting  
• Follow-up of the insurance and services margin  
• Monitoring of the unit margin and explain variances  
• Answer ad-hoc questions by the Management.  
• Monitoring and analysis of production and portfolio margin.  
• Mid Term Plan, Forecast and Budget  
• Ensure that the correct financial information has been provided for the product 
• Update forecasts with new requirements  
• Analysis of the Insurance Services margin.  
• Assist in the Consolidation and Reporting  
• Participate in transversal work with Accounting and Solvency departments in order to leverage on synergies between insurance forecasting, financial and regulatory reporting.  
• Assist in preparation of Board and Committee papers.  

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience within an analysis position
• Insurance knowledge is preferred but not a must
• Fluent in both written and verbal English

• Degree in Economics or simiar
