The CTO Office's Data Governance Consultant spearheads various efforts and projects to execute the Data Strategy of the Public Administration. These projects should enable the Public Administration to meet its data governance objectives, by implementing efficient technical solutions (that involve research, design, and implementation) and setting up the required framework to ensure effective Data Governance. 

The ideal candidate should combine deep technical expertise of current/emerging technologies with innovative thinking and bring a strong understanding of data management and data governance. The role would benefit from knowledge and experience with open data, interoperability aspects, data quality, and data protection.

This role involves participation in European Commission expert groups on Data Governance, Interoperability and AI, and potentially taking part in EU-funded projects under the Digital Europe Programme and others.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible candidates must satisfy one of the following options in terms of qualifications and/or experience in an ICT-related area:

• A qualification (MQF level 7) or higher and 5 years ICT-related experience, 3 of which must be in an ICT leadership / Project Management; or

• A qualification (MQF level 6) and 6 years of experience, 3 of which must be at an ICT leadership / Project Management; or

• 10 years of experience, 3 of which must be at an ICT leadership / Project Management level.
