We are seeking an experienced Operations Team Lead to oversee our operations team and ensure the seamless execution of day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven ability to drive team performance while maintaining effective communication among stakeholders.

 

 

A taster of what you will be involved with: 

 

  • Establish and communicate clear operational standards and performance metrics.
  • Monitor adherence to SLAs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation relevant to operations.
  • Develop a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document to address common queries and streamline communication.
  • Act as a liaison between data teams and other stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and information flow.
  • Organize regular meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and updates on ongoing projects.
  • Foster a culture of learning and professional development within the team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to support individual skill development.
  • Oversee the task backlog, ensuring that it remains prioritized and manageable.
  • Coordinate task assignments and monitor progress, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Execute limited DO engineer responsibilities as needed, providing hands-on support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to solve operational challenges and improve processes.

 

 

You’re good with
  • BA in Computer science
  • Preferably 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and managing datasets.
  • Experience with scripting languages to automate and streamline tasks.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident resolution methodologies.
  • Reliability and strong accountability in managing data operations and supporting team objectives.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong attention to detail.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of data quality and integrity.
