We are seeking a Data Analyst to support betFIRST’s key revenue channels by providing accurate and timely insights through SQL, Python, and Power BI. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to analyze performance, optimize campaigns, support financial reconciliation, and enhance reporting processes.

This role reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

Responsibilities:
  • Analysing and reporting of KPIs for all the main revenue channels of betFIRST (Online Sportsbook, Online Casino, Offline Sportsbook)
  • Use of SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting across the business
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support reporting across various Business Units, ensuring insights are accessible and actionable
  • Use of SQL and Python to access databases to provide frequent, accurate data and reports on a wide range of KPIs across the business
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide data, analysis and recommended actions on the following:
    • CRM – various campaigns, target groups, Casino Tournaments
    • Customer Service – outbound exercises, quality assurance
    • Marketing - inbound campaigns, acquisition, social media
    • Finance – reconciliation of PSPs, transactions
    • VIP – potential new VIPs, analysis of existing base
    • Trading – identifying big winning bets, potential issues with bets/product
    • RG – data on thresholds of customer activity
  • Working closely with external stakeholders and partners to provide relevant data for the purposes of invoicing, reconciliation and analysis
  • Support the COO in the forecasting and modelling of future budgets for the 3 Business Units of betFIRST
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection, reporting and visualisation
  • Other ad-hoc tasks related to the role.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Analyst in the Gaming industry preferential
  • Strong academic background, bachelor’s degree level essential. Master’s degree a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in SQL and databases
  • Knowledge and experience in Python or similar programming language
  • Strong data visualization skills using tools like Power BI or similar
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on translating technical results to non-technical audiences
  • Must have a good knowledge and an interest in a variety of Sports
  • Must be able to report and present all data in a clear and precise manner, notably using Excel
  • Must be able to analyse data and then recommend actions based on findings
  • The candidate will be expected to show initiative and a certain degree of independence with his/her work.
