Data Analyst

Our client in the insurance industry are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team. This person will report to the Actuary and will be responsible for data manipulation from various management systems. 

Main responsibilities

• Analyze, organize, and integrate data from various sources, presenting insights through Excel, dashboards, and reports.
• Interpret data results and produce regular, timely reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Design and implement databases, data collection systems, and analytics strategies to improve statistical efficiency and quality.
• Identify trends and patterns in the data.
• Establish new processes for data collection and analysis.
• Contribute to relevant projects, system implementations, and improvements.
• Detect, manage, and report any transactional issues.
• Create custom data models.
• Document processes and maintain audit trails.

• Knowledge of SQL, R, Python, Excel. Experience in PowerBI will be an asset
• Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Team player willing to learn and grow
• Available to travel abroad for work related matters

• Bachelor or Masters in Maths, Data Science, Statistics, Finance, Insurance or relevent subjects at MQF level 6
