Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for a seasoned Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join our client's team and help them enhance their data visualisation and analytics capabilities. The selected candidate will report to the Head of Business Intelligence. We are looking for someone who is passionate about transforming data into actionable insights and will thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is an iGaming company who provides a next generation platform that delivers the gaming experience of the future with its market-specific online sportsbook, casino and retail solutions and is located in St. Julian's.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust data models, visuals, reports, and dashboards
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs, identify reporting gaps, and enhance their data pipeline for improved self-service reporting
- Collaborate closely with data engineers to define essential data structures for BI projects
- Integrate advanced analytical techniques, including statistical analysis, machine learning, and forecasting, to provide proactive insights
- Pioneer the development of new metrics that deepen understanding of business performance.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in BI development/Data Analysis/Data Science, with a strong portfolio in data visualisation and analytics using Power BI, Tableau or similar tools
- Proficient in SQL and experience in data modelling, warehousing, and ETL processes
- Skilled in applying statistical analysis and basic machine learning methods to real-world business problems
- Practical experience with Python and familiarity with Git
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English; Turkish is a plus
- Must be collaborative, curious, business-focused, resilient, adaptable, and passionate about technology.
EDUCATION:
A bachelor's degree is considered as an asset.
