Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa in Malta is looking to recruit a Telephone Operator / AYS Agent to join their team on a full-time basis. 

Job Role:

Main responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all incoming calls/requests are attended to and that all requests exceed guest expectations when serving them while maintaining the highest Hotel quality standard
  • Responsible for handling all incoming calls by dispatching external and internal guest calls relating to the hotel`s reservations for rooms and restaurants bookings, Housekeeping, Laundry, Front Desk, Maintenance, Security, and Room Service orders, inquiries, and information
  • Knows the hotels' facilities and services and is updated on any special offers and other day-to-day essential information
  • Provides seamless and quality service delivered with courtesy and confidence and be able to handle a request, queries, and complaints in a professional manner and to guest satisfaction
  • Ensure guest follow-ups, and registers feedback on the guest profiles
  • Responsible to keep the Service Centre area organized and all equipment in working order and tidy at all times.

  • Able to work on own initiative, as well as in a team
  • Be clean, tidy, and well organised
  • Able to communicate fluently in Maltese and English
  • Strong communication skills

  • A gift for paying attention to the smallest details
  • Exercise good judgment and maintain a professional demeanor
  • Flexible with working hours including evenings, and weekends.
