Motor Claims Handler

Claims are a crucial part of our agency ensuring that we honour our obligations and promises laid out in the insurance policies to our clients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Insurance Agency Claims team as a Motor Claims Handler reporting directly to the Claims Manager.

The ability to organise and multi-task are essential skills required for this role. Other responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring each client feels valued and supported with their claim, providing personalised and accurate information.
• Taking proactive measures and utilising available resources to ensure the best possible outcome for each client, addressing their specific needs related to their accident or claim.
• Responding promptly to calls reporting new motor claims, capturing their details with high quality, instructing the appropriate service providers, and managing the next steps of the claim journey.
• Processing motor insurance claim payments using an automated system.

We are looking for a person who:

• Has customer service experience.
• Is a great listener, confident in interacting with customers and building relationships over the phone or in person and using computers.
• Possesses the skills to look at situations uniquely and solve problems with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Will be a contributor to a collaborative team.
