Our client is looking to onboard a Front Office Sales Executive to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front office operations, handling customer inquiries, supporting sales activities, and ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative and sales processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently
  • Welcome and assist walk-in customers, providing product information and sales support
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products and services
  • Prepare quotations and process customer orders while maintaining a high standard of customer service to encourage repeat business
  • Prepare and distribute internal memos and communications as required
  • Complete daily sales and cash closing reports accurately, ensuring all documentation is filed and maintained correctly
  • General front office administration and reception duties
  • Assist the marine sales team with customer inquiries and sales requests
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely processing of marine orders
  • Follow up on marine customer requests and provide updates as needed
  • Assist in preparing products and documentation for customer deliveries
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure orders are ready for dispatch
  • Confirm that deliveries have been completed successfully and that customers have received the correct products
  • Resolve or escalate any delivery discrepancies promptly
  • Prepare customer invoices accurately
  • Process cash/card payments in accordance with company procedures and daily cash reconciliation to ensure cash balances are accurate

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front office, customer service, sales, or administrative role
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field would be considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English & Maltese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible and willing to support different departments when required
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented with a proactive with a problem-solving mindset
