Fexserv is also the sole appointed agent for the Western Union branded money transfer services in Malta.
Fexserv Financial Services Ltd is a financial and payments institution authorised to carry on its business by the MFSA. Fexserv offers a wide range of financial services including travel money, swift transfers, cash for foreign cheques, Western Union money transfers, One4all Gift Vouchers, and Ding International Mobile top-ups.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Foreign Exchange Cashier (shift basis).
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Ensuring transactions are completed in a timely and efficient manner with a high standard level of accuracy;
• Open/close branches as required and ensure all tasks and checks are completed;
• Follow compliance procedures and company policies and abiding by all health and safety guidelines as per company standards;
• Perform administrative tasks including filing, generating reports and maintaining mail correspondence;
• Provide support and information to customers over the counter and by phone;
• Maintain a cash float which including balancing and reconciling procedures as well as preparation of daily ‘End of Day’ sheet at the close of each business day;
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner whist ensuring at all times, a seamless customer experience;
Requirements
• The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Maltese and English; additional languages will be considered a plus;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an outgoing pleasant personality;
• Smart appearance, reliable and punctual;
• Positive attitude with ability to work on own initiative and accurately;
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications.
• A high level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a cashier or customer service role
Full training will be provided to the prospective candidates.
